What the extension stores

The extension stores the following on your own device using Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local):

• Your reminder settings — interval, daily target, quiet hours, and display preferences
• Your daily recitation count, which resets automatically each day

This information never leaves your computer. It is not sent to the developer or to any third party. Uninstalling the extension deletes it.

What the extension does not do

• It does not collect personally identifiable information of any kind
• It does not read, store, or transmit the content of the web pages you visit
• It does not track your browsing history or which sites you open
• It does not use analytics, tracking pixels, cookies, or advertising
• It does not make network requests of any kind
• It does not require an account or any form of sign-up

Permissions and why they are needed

Site access and scripting — When a reminder is due, the extension draws a small reminder card on the page you are currently viewing. This is the only reason site access is requested. The injected code is bundled inside the extension package and only adds one self-contained card element, rendered inside a Shadow DOM so it cannot interfere with the page. It reads nothing from the page and sends nothing anywhere.

notifications — Used to show the reminder as a desktop notification. The notification contains only dhikr text bundled in the extension and your own locally stored count.

alarms — Used to schedule the recurring reminder at your chosen interval, and the 10-minute snooze.

storage — Used to save your settings and daily count locally, as described above.

Children

The extension is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a revised date at the top.
